Working with families in the child protective services field for 28 years I saw that children needed positive and supportive interaction from their parents to be able to cope with everyday stressors. The love of seeing families be successful in all that they do.

Positive parents help make positive children. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I am the youngest of nine children. I’m a divorced mother of one grown son. My son and I have a strong and close bond. We travel and attend sporting events together.

What advice would you offer to others wanting to serve?

It takes a lot of work and you will work hard but it can be done. It will be worth it at the end.
