Our program is specifically tailored to serve African-American girls and involves considering their unique physical, emotional and social needs.
Our program is structured to provide a comprehensive wellness program for girls.
We provided a health care screening on youth and mental illness.
We gave out books; Covid-19 test kits and boxes of fresh produce.
What motivates you to serve?
I see so many girls with low self-esteem and I want to be the one to help them improve their self-esteem, positive body image and confidence.
How has your work touched the lives of youth and others in your community
We have started a step team class that focuses on exercising the body. We have held workshop to educate our girls about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Do you have a personal motto or Bible verse that guides your life?
If I can be of service, let me serve.

Spouse Danny Stancil and four godchildren
What advice would you offer to others wanting to serve?
If you have a heart for serving by all means serve even if it starts in a small way. There is always something to do. Don’t wait.
