Young Women of Promise, Inc. will present the 2022 Camp Promise for Girls summer enrichment program for students in grades 4 – 8 from June 13 - July 30, 2022

Our 2022 Camp Promise for Girls is a collaborative effort with

DNA Community Youth Center (Duplin County)
Reaching for the Stars (Beaufort County)
ENC Voices of Youth (Pitt County)
Exquisite Cheer and Dance (Pitt County)
Striving with Vision Empowerment Support Group (Pitt County)
Elevate Mentoring and Support, Inc. (Pitt County)

The camp will include dance lessons by award-winning dancer, Kieanna Bruinton; the launch of ENC Voices of Youth media project; and A Promise to Read youth literacy initiative. 
       

DANCE LESSONS

Our girls will participate in dance lessons with Kieanna Bruinton.  Kieanna is an award-winning dancer and is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

EXPRESS YOURSELF

Students will participate in personal journal writing and will have the opportunity to have their written works published in a youth anthology for publication in the fall of 2022.

ENC
​VOICES OF YOUTH

Camp participants will help to launch the ENC Voices of Youth radio/media project. Students will participate in a variety of media projects including radio, tv, social media, journalism and more.

A PROMISE TO READ

Students will participate in the official Young Women's Book Club and will read, discuss and receive a collection of books to enhance their home reading collections.
